Most likely, as you and I were wrapped and held by our mothers and carers many moons ago. Not to mention the convenience of a super absorbent towel, that can double as a light blanket or shade cloth, pegged to the hood of your pram on sunny days. You will need a few of these useful cloths in your stash!
